For the first time since the attacks which took place in the city in March, the metro station at Maelbeek in the city has reopened.
The lives of 32 victims were claimed and hundreds more were injured in the attacks which took place both on the public transport system and at the airport in Zaventem.
The metro lines in the city are now operating fully again, but with an escalated presence of the armed forces.

There was also a tribute to those who lost their lives at the station in the attacks, as those who were using the station noticed and shared on social media.
