Veteran broadcaster Sir David Frost (74) died of a suspected heart attack aboard a cruise ship on Saturday night.
A statement from Frost's family said he had been due to give a speech on the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship.
For two decades Frost was the host of the ITV panel show Through the Keyhole and conducted The Nixon Interviews in 1977.
He had been hosting the The Frost Interview since 2012.
The reaction on Twitter:
My heart goes out to David Frost's family. He could be - and certainly was with me - both a friend and a fearsome interviewer.

Oh no! David #Frost was the voice of the weekend growing up. Will have to rewatch Frost/Nixon next week.

Saddened to hear of Sir David Frost's passing. It was an honour to have been interviewed by him on Frost Across the World. A broadcast titan
