Bill and Hillary Clinton have become grandparents this morning - after their daughter Chelsea confirmed on Twitter that she'd given birth to a little girl.
The daughter of the former US President tweeted to say "Marc and I are full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky".
Bill was quick to retweet the post.
Bill and Hillary have each shared publicly their excitement over the baby. Bill has said he hoped his grandchild will have an open mind and respectfulness.
Since announcing she was pregnant in April, baby name suggestions swirled around the internet. The Washington Post even created an interactive baby name generator for the unborn child, a flow chart of sorts that encapsulated gender and political aspirations.
Chelsea and her husband reportedly did not know the baby's sex before birth.
As for bringing home baby: Chelsea has mentioned before that her child may have an elephant- themed nursery. She has also said that she fears that elephant poaching in Africa may mean a world without the pachyderm, her favorite animal, for her baby.
