Spooks: The Greater Good is a follow-up movie based on the popular BBC series Spooks (referred to as MI-5 in some countries) that aired from 2002 to 2011.

The movie version of the series will be directed by Bharat Nalluri, the originating director on the TV series. It also sees Peter Firth reprise his role as Harry Pearce head of MI-5’s Counterterrorism.

The plot follows the story of agent Will Holloway (Harington) investigating how a dangerous terrorist Adam Qasim (Elyes Gabel) escaped from custody during a routine handover. Holloway is tasked with finding out what happened against the threat of an imminent terror attack on London.

Also on The Picture Show:

Love/Hate stars Peter Coonan and Killian Scott chat about the Dublin based drama Get Up and Go written and directed by Brendan Grant.

The pair talks about the "happy coincidence" that brought them together again to star in a story about two friends in Dublin who reach a crossroads in their lives.

Scott says that taking part in the film was "a no brainer" and Coonan liked "the idea of telling a story like this in Dublin."

The two also discuss the future of Love/Hate and the possibility that the show’s creator Stuart Carolan might want to “flex other muscles.”

Get Up and Go chronicles an action-packed 24 hours of lifelong friends Alexander (Coonan) and Coilin (Scott) as they reach a time in their lives where they have to get back on track and move forward.

In cinemas now.
