Not quite sure of what the best picks of the box are for this week? Or will you regret having not recorded something during the week when everyone is suddenly talking about it?

Fear not, Tom Dunne has you covered.

Sue Murphy joined Tom to pick out the best of the box this week and there really is a lot of great TV picks.

Pick of the Week: Gogglebox, Friday, Channel 4, 9pm

A simple concept from Channel 4 which other stations must be disgusted they didn't think of - get a lot of people to sit in front of a television and film them talking about it.

The result? Comic genius.

An Klondike, Tuesday, TG4, 9.30pm
 
Western drama centring on three Irish immigrants during the Klondike gold rush.
 
The Connollys arrive in the mining town of Dominion Creek and become involved in a feud. 

Doctor Foster, Wednesday, BBC1, 9pm
 
Doctor Jenny Foster is a woman in control: she is a trusted GP, the heart of her village, a woman people can trust.  But Doctor Foster’s life is about to explode. When she suspects her husband has been having an affair, Doctor Foster is determined to find out the truth.

She throws herself into an investigation that is going to propel her, her family, and even some of her patients, into chaos.  Bit by bit, Doctor Foster uncovers secrets that shock her to the core. Now she has to choose how to react. One thing is certain – she is going to behave in ways she could never have imagined.

First Dates, Thursday, Channel 4, 10pm
 
Another hugely successful piece of work for Channel 4, this show films two single people chosen to go on date, eating at a restaurant table and filmed chatting. That's it. And yet the results are magnificent.

Film of the Week - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Tuesday, ITV2. 10pm
 
Although originally filmed in its native Sweden, it was David Fincher who really got a handle on the dark tale by Stieg Larsson.
 
Journalist Mikael Blomkvist is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years by Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker.
