A Kilkenny man has appeared in court in the North, after a drugs seizure at Belfast City Airport.
Border Force officers seized more than 10 kilos of suspected cocaine.
The drugs, with an estimated street value of over stg£500,000 (€655.731), were found during checks at the airport on Sunday May 22nd.
An investigation is being carried out by the UK's National Crime Agency (NCA).
The 30-year-old from Kilkenny appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court today, charged with the illegal importation of a Class A drug.
He was remanded in custody to re-appear at the same court on May 31st.
John Oldham, assistant director of Border Force, said: "Cocaine is a vile and destructive drug, which ruin the lives of users and the wider community".
"Border Force officers are on constant alert to keep illegal drugs and other banned substances out of the UK".
