The CEO of Bank of Ireland will face questions from the Finance Committee later as part of their overview of the banking sector.
The Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform will hold a series of meetings with a number of financial institutions to find out how they are dealing with customers in mortgage arrears.
Members will meet with the Group Chief Executive of Bank of Ireland Richie Boucher this afternoon which will be followed by meetings with senior executives from Permanent TSB, Ulster Bank and AIB next week.
Committee Chairman, Deputy Liam Twomey says lending to small and medium sized businesses will also be up for discussion.
