Ireland’s leading digital audio exchange audioXi has signed an exclusive partnership with “In Game Audio” specialists AudioMob.

AudioMob are the experts when it comes to in-game audio advertising formats.

The company allows ads to be inserted into popular mobile gaming apps without interrupting gameplay – allowing brands to interact with audiences in a non-invasive manner.

The new partnership will see An Post becoming the first advertiser to use the format in Ireland.

AudioMob’s technology will ensure the An Post ads are only served to users who are playing with their volume on or above 30%, ensuring they are as effective as possible.

AudioMob secured $14 Million in Series A funding last year and the company has access to over two million gamers in Ireland, ensuring advertising campaigns can be rolled out at scale.

A YouGov/AudioMob survey last year found that 75% of Mobile Gamers preferred audio ads over video ads and the other 25% were indifferent.

An Post Digital Marketing Manager Conor Barron said An Post is excited to be at the centre of Ireland’s the first In Game Audio campaign.

“Gaming has been an emerging category that we have focused on at An Post over the last year and having a platform like AudioMob to tap into a large engaged audience with the ad verification of Moat behind it was a really attractive proposition,” he said.

“We look forward to seeing the results in the coming weeks.”

Bauer Media Ireland’s audioXi offers advertisers a single point of access to over 26 different radio stations, 37 different music streams and over 1,600 podcast series.

The platform links advertisers with wide-ranging audiences across premium publishers including Go Loud Podcasts, Today FM, Wondery, Newstalk, Audioboom, iRadio, Off The Ball, RedFM, Stitcher, Classic Hits and many more.
