A new survey of the worst holiday fashion faux pas’ shows socks and sandals are the ultimate holiday turn-off.

Lastminute.com asked holiday makers what they most hated seeing.

Scoring top of the ‘most offensive to other travellers list’ – G-strings, mankinis and speedos.

Women going topless was given the thumbs down by 19% of respondents.

Irish people were rated one of the least offensive for beachwear.

The speedo-loving Germans came top with 22%,  followed by sock and sandal clad Brits on 15%.
