Police in the North are appealing for information following a paramilitary style shooting in West Belfast yesterday evening.

A 21 year-old man had received a gunshot wound to his leg at Norglen Grove shortly after 8.30pm.

He was taken to hospital and treated for injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Police say two men were seen leaving the area on foot after the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
