Italy's top crimimal court has criticised the flaws in the case brought against Amanda Knox and her ex-boyfriend for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher.
It says there was a complete lack of 'biological traces' of the American or Raffaelle Sollecito at the scene in Perugia.
Both spent four years in jail before being acquitted of murder in March. They have always insisted on their innocence.
21-year-old Meredith Kercher was found with fatal stab wounds in Perugia in 2007. Ms Knox was found guilty of her murder twice.
But she was acquitted after 'glaring errors' were found in the case against her - including a lack of DNA evidence.
She returned to the US before an appeal court threw out the acquittal and reinstated the guilty verdicts last year.
Ms Knox and Mr Sollecito were acquitted of the murder again back in March.
Rudy Guede, from the Ivory Coast, was convicted of the murder in a separate trial. He is serving a 16-year jail sentence.
