The Olympia Theatre in Dublin has announced that Al Porter is standing aside from his role in this years pantomime.
He was due to star in Polly and the Beanstalk, having also starred in the theatre's 2015 & 2016 festive shows.
A statement issued today says that a replacement star for this year's show will be announced shortly.

Yesterday, Mr Porter resigned from his lunchtime show on Today FM amid allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
A statement issued by the comedian said he apologised to anyone he may have genuinely offended.
He added that he will be taking some "time away from the spotlight".
