An initiative to help those in mortgage distress has successfully resolved the cases of more than 1,300 AIB Group customers.
Over 1,300 people with mortgage arrears at the AIB Group have found a long term resolution in the past year through the Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation.
In 30% of the cases resolved, customers who were facing repossession proceedings managed to achieve a long term sustainable solution.

The IMHO says a significant number of families and individual homeowners have successfully had their mortgage challenges resolved under the scheme, which is a free service for AIB Group customers having difficulty meeting repayments.
