The number of people in Ireland looking to adopt, far exceeds the number of children available for adoption.
The joint Oireachtas Committee on Health and Children will meet with interest groups this morning to discuss the issue.
The Children’s Rights Alliance, the Adoption Rights Alliance, the International Adoption Association and the Adoption Authority of Ireland will all address the Committee.
