It is being reported that a woman in her sixties has been killed in a house fire in County Tipperary today.

The 67-year-old was discovered at a house in Kilregane, Lorrha at around 2.30pm this afternoon.

She was removed University Hospital Limerick, and a postmortem examination is due to be carried out there.

Gardai are investigating the incident, but are currently not treating the incident as suspicious.
