It seems more and more of you are moving the dial to Newstalk. The latest JNLR radio listenership figures show Newstalk has a weekly audience of over 600,000 people.

In particular there has been a strong increase in audience numbers for our morning shows, with results showing continued growth for Newstalk Breakfast and The Pat Kenny Show.

According to the figures, Newstalk now reaches a record 315,000 listeners daily.

Newstalk Breakfast have 126,000 listeners daily - an increase in 5,000 listeners on the last book.

Meanwhile The Pat Kenny Show has 96,000 listeners daily, which is an impressive 18,000 increase in listeners on the last book.

Moncrieff has 112,000 listeners per day, which represents an increase of 17,000 year on year.

The Right Hook has meanwhile maintained a strong position with 130,000 listeners daily, and Off the Ball has 43,000 listeners - an increase of 4,000 year on year.

Lunchtime with Jonathan Healy has added 4,000 listeners year on year.

While Off the Ball on weekends now has nearly 90,000 listeners on Saturdays with nearly 70,000 on Sundays.

Commenting on the latest JNLR figures, Newstalk CEO Gerard Whelan said "We are delighted with the JNLR results, released today. They give a clear indication that Newstalk continues to generate great momentum across the country".

"We are seeing particularly strong performances from both Newstalk Breakfast, with Ivan and Chris, and The Pat Kenny Show".

"Our record-breaking daily listenership is testament to the extraordinary talent and hard work displayed by each team in the station. This is an exciting time for Newstalk and we look forward to continuing to deliver the best content on national radio" he added.
