A train and bus were involved in a major collision in northern Mexico on Tuesday.

CCTV footage of the accident captured the moment that the bus attempted to go through the rail crossing and was subsequently slammed into by the oncoming train.

Four people were killed and 23 were injured in the accident.

A government official for the Northern coastal state of Sinaloa announced yesterday that the bus driver was one of the people killed in the crash.

All those injured were taken to a local hospital, and local governor Mario López Valdez stated that an investigation had already begun into the accident.
