Three women are due in court in Co. Donegal this morning, charged in connection with a cannabis seizure earlier this week.

€360,000 worth of cannabis plants were found at a premises in Ballybofey on Tuesday evening, by gardaí from Letterkenny's Drugs Unit. They were seized together with items made and adapted for the growth and cultivation of cannabis during a search at a premises on Navenny St. 

Three women aged in their 20s and 50s were detained along with a man in his 30s.

The women are due before Letterkenny District Court.

The man, aged in his 30s is still in garda custody and can be held for a total of seven days.

All of the people arrested were held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
