A further 2,307 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Ireland today, the Department of Health has confirmed. 

982 come from PCR tests, while 1,325 people registered a positive antigen test with the HSE. 

435 people in hospital have the virus - of whom 38 are being treated in ICU. 

The five day moving average has decreased to 2,397.
