13 people have been killed after the bus they were travelling in crashed in northern Thailand.

Officials say the coach, carrying Malaysian tourists, hit a car and ran off a curve in the road.

Ten other people, including the Thai driver, who were on board the bus were injured and have been taken to hospital.

Two people who were in the car are also reported to have been injured.

The crash happened in the Doi Saket district, near Chiang Mai city.
