Gabriella Capra ("goat" in Italian) is claiming 100,000 euros in damages from the British producers of the show, which features a baby goat character.
She claims her life has been ruined since 2012 as she has become the butt of endless jokes because she shared her name with a character in the popular children's show.
The Italian National Foundation of Consumers (FNC) is supporting Ms Capra in her legal endeavour.

Ms Capra claims she has been "exposed to public hilarity" and teased by friends and colleagues.
She says any damages received from animators Astley Baker Davies would be donated to charity.
