A Chinese programmer spent two years' annual salary, around €70,000, on iPhone 6s and arranged the boxes in a heart and then in front of colleagues and friends goes down on bended knee.

According to site The Nanfang, the Guangzhou programmer decided to pop the question ahead of Nov. 11, which in China, is celebrated as "Single's Day" because of the four lonely 1's in the date.

Unfortunately the girlfriend said ... NO!

Luckily the phones were still in their boxes so maybe all is not lost??
