My three year old daughter has started using the F***ING word a lot! I realise that this is my own fault and my fiancé and I have tried to curb our bad language!!! How do I get her to stop?  She is obviously doing it to get a reaction.  She can be at times jealous of her 7 month old sister, but is happy in all other respects. So far we have tried to ignore the bad language, i.e. not to react to it.  I have told her she wont be let into school if she is swearing. She says she doesn’t care! She is incredibly sharp and knows that any threats wont be implemented. I don’t want to “punish” her as she’s so young!

"As we sow, so shall we reap." There is probably no better example of this phrase than that contained in the question above. Children do what they see and hear, not what we say. It is a simple as that. You know have a child who is using the language you and your fiance have been using. Congratulations on teaching your child how to use obscene language.

You now want to stop her and say you are "endeavouring" to curb your bad language. I suggest you stop endeavouring and instead stop using foul and obscene language!

You also say that "any threats won't be implemented". As a result your child has learned that what you say means nothing. Therefore she has little reason to change her behaviour or language.

I'm afraid I don't have much sympathy for this sort of parenting style and suggest you go to the library or bookshop and purchase a book about parenting. You have a lot to learn!
