Newstalk celebrates its 13th birthday this week and so to celebrate on Movies and Booze we’ll be tasting my favourite Champagne and a Prosecco. Monrieff and Movies and Booze didn’t come along until May 2014.. That week the afternoon slot was ‘Dublin Life’ presented by Carol Moran and Sue Carter but there was a wine slot on the Wednesday contributed by Martin Moran.

Wines Tasted Today
Charles Heidseick Brut NV, RRP €65.

Available in many good independents including 64 Wine, The Corkscrew, Terroirs, Sweeneys, Redmonds, Mitchells, Donnybrook Fair, all in Dublin. The Wine Cente in Kilkenny, Egans in Portlaiose, Flories in Tramore and O’Briens.
