This year's Web Summit is in full swing here at the RDS. One of the stand out events from this morning's proceedings was a talk featuring Irish rugby player Jamie Heaslip who spoke about his various techie investments. 

The most exciting place to be, however, is out on the floor with the start-ups who are looking to meet with investors and secure funding for their companies. Take a listen to some of the start-ups we met this morning. 

Paulina told me about her company ShopTrotter. It is pitched as being the Trip Advisor for shops. Users can download their Android app and read reviews of shops in various cities. It's also possible to leave feedback of a shop - either positive or negative.
