Hot on the tails of the announcement that the DeLorean car, a huge flop that was originally produced in Northern Ireland and which rose to fame in the Back to the Future franchise, would go back into production, the company behind the move has released the first advert for the forthcoming cars.

Directed by Alexander Alexandrov, the new commercial is called Lucky Coin and is the first piece of advertising released by the company in decades.

The limited run of DeLorean vehicles is expected to be delivered to consumers in 2017 and will retail at a cost of $100,000 (€90,000). You can watch the advert in full below:
