You may think that you take necessary precautions to ensure you leave as little a trace online as possible, but there is a very simple website that will show you just how much your web browser knows about you. You don't need to log in or register for an account; simply click on the link.
The site is called Webkay.Robinlinus.com. Clicking on this link provides information, including a rough idea of your location, your device's operating system and what social media sites you are logged onto to.
"This is a demonstration of all the data your browser knows about you. All this data can be accessed by any website without asking you for any permission. Most of the data points are educated guesses and not considered to be accurate," says the site.
