The OnePlus is one of a growing number of Chinese smartphone manufacturers who are fighting to gain a foothold in the country's booming smartphone market by competing with Samsung and Apple on technology - but undercutting them on price.
Unlike other exciting phones from companies like Xiaomi - the OnePlus One is now available in Ireland.
The Silk While 16GB OnePlus One has a 5.5 inch 1080 HD screen, a 13MP camera, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 801 CPU, a 3,100 mAh battery and 4G support - and retails at €269.
The 64GB Sandstone Black version costs €299.
That is for an unlocked phone, straight from the manufacturer.
The company calls the OnePlus One a "flagship killer." It has struggled to keep up with demand for the phones - and has been selling them under an "invite" system.
One Plus is currently selling to phones invite-free on Tuesdays - but it warns that, "Tuesday open sales may not last forever."
New products are due to be announced in April and the follow-up phone, the OnePlus 2 is set to be released in the third quarter of 2015.
