Not everyone is a fan of social media and one American mother made her feelings on the matter abundantly clear.

The woman states "I hereby denounce the effects that social media have on my children. Their disobedience and their disrespect."

She then places the iPhone on a tree stump and blasts it with her shotgun. Twice. After the shooting, she continues on her angry rant, whilst taking a sledgehammer to the remains of the device. 

"My children's lives are more important to me than any electronic on this earth. I refuse to be cursed. I refuse to be disobeyed. I take back my role as your parent."
