A delegation from Portugal is in town for the final day of Web Summit 2015 - including the country's deputy Prime Minister, Paulo Portas.
He and his government have been talking-up the country's tech credentials, “Lisbon has been described as the next Silicon Valley,” he told the RDS crowd.
Mr Portas added that the city will offer great infrastructure, weather and night life next November.
He acknowledged what the Web Summit has achieved in Ireland, but added that, "Lisbon will help the Web Summit to grow more internationally."
Growth is also the theme in the new video which has been released by the Portuguese tourism board, promoting the 2016 Web Summit.
The video, titled Choice 2.0, says that it is time to "upgrade to the next version."
It describes the Web Summit as, "one of the biggest and most influential events for entrepreneurship, technology and innovation in the world."
Web Summit organisers have fallen out with Ireland's government - co-founder Paddy Cosgrave has accused Irish ministers and State agencies of using the event as a photo opportunity, rather than a chance to make business connections.
These claims have been refuted by a number of government ministers.
Paddy Cosgrave will appear on the Late Late Show tomorrow.
