After years of pleading with Facebook and the odd dismissal from their CEO, it seems that the Facebook dislike button is finally in the mix.
According to Mashable, Zuckerberg himself announced the inclusion at a town hall meeting on Tuesday at the company's California headquarters.
"People have asked about the 'dislike' button for many years, and probably hundreds of people have asked about this, and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it," Zuckerberg said, according to a CNBC report.
Apparently Zuckerberg wasn't too keen on the upvoting and downvoting systems that exist on other sites at the moment.
Although it just seems like a simple inclusion for the site, this would obviously have a major impact on companies who depend on likes for posts.
