Close to one-third of small Irish businesses are not feeling the benefits of the economic recovery.
In a Big Red Cloud survey of 500 small businesses, 18% admitted they'd seen no boost at all to their business since the economy got back on track.
A mere 8% felt they had enjoyed a substantial improvement.

The perceived Irish attitude to young start-ups is not helping matters either, with three-quarters of businesses saying the tax treatment and general attitude towards the self-employed is unfair.
Over one-fifth felt the tax structure was unhelpful to entrepreneurs.
