A Reddit user named 'WowBobWow' bought the device from Craigslist in the hopes of converting it into a working computer. As he scanned through his newly purchased device, WowBobWow discovered a folder called 'MacPlaymate'.
This piece of X-rated software was created in 1986 by artist and software designer Mike Saenz. Billed as "interactive erotica", the programme was incredibly explicit for its time.
The star of the show, so to speak, is Maxie - a lady who conducts a basic Q&A with the user, which ultimately leads to her taking her clothes off and, well... you know...
It all gets a little bit NSFW from here on out.
The previous owner of the Mac SE was clearly ahead of their time as they also had software on the device to manage their home, essentially turning it into a smart-home. It's incredible to think this sort of technological management was possible some thirty years ago.
But that's not quite as interesting as pixelated porn though, is it?
