Irish hotel prices increased by 10% last year to an average of €103 per night.
According to new research from Hotels.com, Dublin saw the highest rise in prices, up 13% year-on-year, to an average of €109 per night.
Killarney is the destination where travellers paid the most - at €111 per night, up 5%.
Limerick prices rose by 12% in 2014, but is still the best value destination at an average of €76 per night.

While globally, hotel room prices are up 3% overall. It is the fourth consecutive year that hotel prices have continued to recover.
Hotels.com says that despite the increases, Ireland still remains a great value destination for both domestic and international travellers.
It says increased visitor numbers, additional air routes and events-based tourism - such as the Wild Atlantic Way- have all contributed to the ongoing recovery of hotel prices.
According to figures released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), visitor numbers to Ireland increased by 9% in 2014.
