When Google engineer Max Braun went out looking for a Smart Mirror, he discovered that they didn't seem to exist.

However, being a Google engineer, he did the next best thing: he created one for himself.

Running on an Android OS, the bathroom Smart Mirror displays the weather, the time and the latest news headlines.

Still very much a work in progress, the Smart Mirror isn't yet interactive - we're not quite in Minority Report territory, but we are getting there - but that can only be a matter of time.

Below, Braun pulls back the curtain to show just how easy it is to put together. Providing you're technologically and electrically inclined, that is.
