Facebook is to begin testing alternatives to the 'like' button from tomorrow.
Ireland has been chosen, along with Spain, to try out the new feature.
It will see the standard 'like' button replaced by a reaction button.
There are seven in total: Like, Love, Haha, Yay, Wow, Sad and Angry.
The change comes after years of calls from Facebook users to add a dislike button.
It comes just weeks after reports that the social media site was to bring in a 'dislike' button.
According to Mashable, founder Mark Zuckerberg announced the inclusion at a town hall meeting at the company's California headquarters.
"People have asked about the 'dislike' button for many years, and probably hundreds of people have asked about this, and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it," Zuckerberg said, according to a CNBC report.
However, the company suggested the button would be more of a way for users to empathise with each other.
