The Taoiseach says the next budget will focus tax cuts on those earning between €30,000 and €70,000.

Enda Kenny was speaking at a jobs announcement in Longford.

He says these earners are the "hard-pressed middle", and will be the focus of government help in the budget.

Mr Kenny signalled that while every taxpayer benefitted from tax cuts in the the last budget, that may change next year.
