New figures show that one-in-four Irish teenagers have been the victim of cyber-bullying.
An online survey of over 5,000 teenagers showed that 60% think cyber-bullying is actually worse than face-to-face bullying.
While more than half of then say they think it is a bigger problem than drug abuse.
45% of those surveyed said that they felt helpless after being cyber-bullied.
CEO of the ISPCC, Grainia Long, says that there is a mismatch between what children think of bullying and the services being provided to them.
She says parents need to communicate the risks of online activity to their children.
