There is never any shortage of innovation here at CES. This year we're seeing driverless cars, SUHD TVs and some incredible wearables, but not everything that is on show is necessarily something we, the consumer, needs. Take a look at some of the stranger products at CES so far.

Emiota Belty

This is a wearable, but not like the ones we have seen before. The Belty is a smart belt that automatically adjusts itself based on the activities and movements of the wearer. It can tighten or loosen if the user has eaten too much or exercised.

It can also provide the user with information from the on-board accelerometer and gyroscope.

SleepPhones

If you are a light sleeper or often get disturbed during the night, Acoustic Sheep’s SleepPhones may be for you. The elastic headband has been described as pyjamas for your ears.

The product was created by a doctor who had difficulty falling asleep, often being woken by her mobile phone. SleepPhones provide ambient noise blocking and gives the user the option of HQ music. The headphones have a 10-hour battery life.

Smart Bottle

Slow Control has produced a smart baby bottle called the Baby Gigl. It monitors how much and how fast the baby is drinking. These results are then pushed to a smartphone. It also gives tips to parents on how to hold the bottle and the optimum angle for the bottle to be held.
