The Central bank has issued a warning on Robinson Securities LLC, an unauthorised investment firm operating in the country.

According to the Irish Times, a statement issued today sad the company is not authorised as an investment firm, investment business firm or to provide investment advice.

It is a criminal offence for such a firm to provide financial services that require the Central Bank's approval, and investors would  is not be eligible for compensation from the Investor Compensation Scheme.

Robinson Securities LLC is, according to its website, a 27-year-old consultancy firm base in Seattle, Washington.
