The Sony Mavica MVC-FD73 was a digital camera, produced in 1999. Images taken on this device were stored on a 3.5-inch floppy disk. The Sony Mavica range used floppy discs for memory until 2001.
Using floppy disks for storage made the transition of images to a computer much easier. It's thought that a floppy disk could store a maximum of 20 jpeg files at any one time. While this device may look incredibly basic, it did have four photo effects; Sepia, black and white, negative and "solarize".
