Billionaire gambler JP McManus looks set to buy the Adare Manor resort for €30 million.
The five-star hotel and golf course, which has twice hosted a pro-am event that drew Tiger Woods, was put up for sale earlier this year by NAMA.

Initial bids for Adare Manor were set at €25m but reports today says there was plenty of interesting in buying the Co. Limerick property.
Aside from the golf course and hotel there are 71 houses on the historic estate and planning permission for a further 133.
The 400-acre estate had been put on the block before by NAMA in 2013. Then it attracted a highest bid of just €13m.
