Alba Bluetooth Speaker - €17.99
Alba Bluetooth Speaker is an excellent, portable speaker. It connects to any Android or iOS device via Bluetooth. The sound from the tiny device is excellent. It can either hook onto something or stand up with the kickstand on the back of the device. The Alba Bluetooth Speaker is available in blue, green and pink.

Kenwood 2GoSport - €39
The Nutribullet is incredibly popular, but a little bit pricey. If you’re looking for an alternative juicer, it’s definitely worth checking the Kenwood 2GoSport. For less than €40, this small device comes with two bottles. There are two speed settings that work well in blending up fruit and producing delicious smoothies!
Braun Satin-Hair 7 Dryer with Iontec | HD730 €49
Of all the products I have reviewed this year, I’ve had more questions about this device than any other. I used the Braun Satin Hair 7 for about 2 weeks and noticed a difference in my hair. This dryer uses IONTEC technology which leaves your hair incredibly smooth and shiney.
While most people only care if the dryer does the job, it’s worth noting that the Braun Satin Hair 7 has a brilliant design. The calibrated fan inside the device ensures that the heat is distributed evenly.
Philips Airfryer | HD9220/20 - €149
This airfryer is one of my favourite gadgets of the year, hands down. This device allows the user to make potatoes, fries, spring rolls - or pretty much anything with just 18mls of oil. The Philips Air Fryer can cook up to 800g of sweet potato fries at the one time.
The Philips Airfryer is a hot air cooker that offers a healthier alternative to deep fat frying. It's effectively a small fan oven on your worktop. Controls are simple: a dial at the top lets you set temperature (80-200°C) while the timer dial above the handle controls cooking.

Huawei P8 €379.99
I’m a fan of Huawei and have been for some time. They make solid phones - ideal entry level Android devices. They have just released their new high-end smartphone; the P8.
The P8 has a 5.2-inch screen and runs Android Lollipop. While it is an Android device, the UI is somewhat different to the likes of Samsung and HTC devices. As with previous and cheaper Huawei models, the P8 is incredibly easy to use and can be fully customised to the user’s taste.
Internally the P8 has a quad-core 2GHz Cortex processor and a quad core 1.5GHz chipset. There are two models available: 16GB or 64GB. There’s a microSD slot, allowing users to boost storage to 128GB.
The main camera on this device is 13MP and is fantastic - the cameras on the Huawei devices are always impressive. The front camera is 8MP.
The camera also comes with useful editing tools as well as geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and a panorama mode.
