Around the world, there are millions of people using Apple software on their phones or laptops, having hastily clicked ‘Yes’ when asked whether or not they agree with the terms of service without ever have even scanned through them. But now a comic book artist is turning the corporate agreement into a faithfully adapted graphic novel.

iTunes Terms & Conditions started off as a Tumblr post created by Robert Sikoryak, who has been delivered a panel-filled page per day featuring the late Apple head Steve Jobs issuing all of the edicts and terms consumers are agreeing to without ever knowing it. The artwork lovingly riffs on other comic-book artists like Frank Miller (Sin City, 300) and Charles Schulz (Peanuts).

Now the collection has been amassed into unabridged sections:

The design of the pages is a knowing nod to the works created by iconic comic-book artists like Hergé and Cathy, as well as to the style seen in classic Marvel and DC adventure stories. The Apple CEO, best known for his product-launch speeches delivered with a low-key style while wearing a black polo-neck jumper, is turned into a beefed up superhero or sage ninja, spouting legalese to consumers:

Sikoryak's work achieved such cult status online that they have now been collected in two books, The Unabridged Graphic Adaptation iTunes Terms and Conditions, Part A & B and The Unabridged Graphic Adaptation iTunes Terms and Conditions, Part C & D.
