Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a woman in her 20s died in a crash in Dublin this morning.

She was a front seat passenger in a car which hit a wall on the Rush Road in Skerries at around 12.30am.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The driver - who is in his 20s - and another female passenger - who is in her late teens - were taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí have closed the road for a forensic examination.
