A woman has died after being swept into the sea off the coast of Clare.
The woman, who was in her 53-years-old and had an address in Tipperary, was understood to have been fishing near Fanore at Ballyryan when she was swept off rocks at about 8:45am on Sunday morning.
She was rescued by Doolin Coastguard by Shannon Rescue Unit 115, while an ambulance and gardai also responded to the incident.

The woman was flown by helicopter to University Hospital Galway, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
