A tweet from Trump Hotels' over the weekend proved too much for social media trolls after President Donald Trump's introduction of restrictive immigration policy.
Following protests at airports across the country, an old tweet from the hotel chain resurfaced: "Tell us your favorite travel memory. Was it a picture, a souvenir, a sunset?"
People - such as the creator of Sabrina The Teenage Witch - reacted as follows:
My favorite travel memory? My grandfather landing on Ellis Island after dodging bullets on a farm in Eastern Europe. Thx for asking! https://t.co/FxAUh38Ei0

At the time of writing, Trump Hotels' has not deleted the tweet.
Sean Spicer hates Daft Punk
President Trump's Press Secretary, Sean Spicer also recently fell afoul of keyboard warriors on Twitter, after old tweets concerning his taste in music - and ice cream - resurfaced.
During the duo's 2014 Grammy performance, Mr Spicer tweeted that the band needed to "grow up".
He also felt very strongly about American ice cream brand Dippin Dots:
Dippin dots is NOT the ice cream of the future

I think I have said this before but Dippin Dots are notthe ice cream of the future

If Dippin Dots was truly the ice cream of the future they would not have run out of vanilla cc @Nationals

"We understand that ice cream is a serious matter. And running out of your favorite flavor can feel like a national emergency! We’ve seen your tweets and would like to be friends rather than foes. After all, we believe in connecting the dots," CEO of Dippin Dots Scott Fischer wrote in an open letter on Monday.
