Twitter has unveiled a new look across Twitter.com, the app on iOS and Android, Tweetdeck and Twitter Lite. Users will notice the update in the coming days.

The company has outlined the key changes, which will change the look and feel of the service on every platform.

The new update will see profile, additional accounts, settings, and privacy located in the one place. A side navigation bar will appear and the number of tabs on the bottom of the app will reduce. This makes for less clutter and easier browsing. This has been the setup on Android for some time, but will now appear on iOS.

Those using iPhone will notice links opening in Safari's viewer within the Twitter app, making it easy to access accounts on websites they're already signed into.

The company has also made changes to the way icons are displayed on the website.

"People thought the reply icon, an arrow, meant delete or go back to a previous page. We switched to a speech bubble, a symbol most know and love. We also made the icons lighter for more seamless interaction," said the company.

Those using iOS and Android will also notice conversations updating instantly with replies, retweets and likes.
