Three men are being questioned at Nenagh Garda Station following the seizure of an estimated €240,000 worth of herbal cannabis yesterday.
A package containing 7 kilos of the drug, believed to be worth €140,000 and to have originated in Spain, was found at an address in Roscrea.
Three Lithuanian males, one in his late teens and two in their mid 20s, were arrested at the scene.
A second package containing 5 kilos of herbal cannabis, thought to be worth €100,000, was seized during a follow-up search at another address in the Tipperary town.
The seizures were a joint operation by Revenue's Customs Service, the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, along with the Roscrea Divisional Drugs Unit.
