That time of year is fast approaching again - men across the country will be growing mustaches for Movember.
For 30 days facial hair takes over to raise funds for men's health.
It comes as Barber Cut Dublin, the only barber festival of its kind in Ireland, takes place this weekend in the capital.
The event has the Movember Foundation on board as its charity partner.
Sam's Barber's are opening the Movember & Co barbershop on Dame Lane on Saturday - with all the proceeds being donated to Movember's men's health initiatives.
The barbershop will provide fresh cuts by world-renowned guest barbers, and free men's health checks.
It says it hopes health checks in a familiar environment will remove the barriers and stigmas that often prevent men from taking control of their health.
Guest barbers over the weekend include Matty Conrad, Joth Davies, Dale Ted Watkins, Andrea Raymond, and Garry Jackson.
